Mennonite Choral Society presents Messiah, December 7

The Mennonite Choral Society presented Handel’s Messiah to a full audience on Saturday, Dec. 7 at 7:30. The performance this year was accompanied by the Indiana Wesleyan Orchestra, prepared by its director, Jason Thompson. Dr. Scott Lehman also accompanied the choruses on the organ. Soloists included Dr. Lisa Dawson (soprano), Dr. Loralee Songer (alto), Daniel Doty (tenor), and Dr. Connor Angel (bass). The 150+ voice choir and 22 piece orchestra were under the direction of Brent Hyman, Director of Music at First Mennonite Church.
