With thousands of deaths and countless infected, Lombardy is the most hit region in Europe by COVID19. Now that Italy is easing its lockdown, to avoid a second wave of infection there is only one thing to do: testing and tracing the population quickly and by all means possible. The serology rapid test is one of those means but Lombardy has prevented its use. Why? We investigated a shady partnership between a public hospital and a powerful biotechnology company that could have dramatic consequences.
