The World Cup is considered the most prestigious footballing tournament in the world that occurs once every four years. I had the honour of participating in creating an exhibition piece titled “Our World Cup”, for Outernet and takemorephotos. As a self-proclaimed football fan myself I know the significance this event holds worldwide. Particularly to all the fans across the world. Our aim was to cover stories from these individuals on what the World Cup means to them. And how they choose to celebrate it. We aimed for the videos to have a fun and celebration element to them along with keeping it engaging. Blending in B roll shots gave us exactly that. Which created the perfect cuts between the interviews.
