Barcelona, Sep 6 (EFE).- F.C. Barcelona trained on Friday in an intimate session due to the absence of many international players who will be playing World Cup qualifiers this weekend for their national sides. Activity at Barça's sports complex was minimum and Gerardo Martino's extensive coaching staff was in charge of the session, seeing as the manager himself returned to Argentina to take care some personal business left in his wake due to a speedy transfer to Barcelona.
Gerardo Pique and Javier Mascherano were the only international stars that stayed behind They will have to miss out on the matches due to bookings.
