Paris, 11 Apr (EFE), (Camera: Mario Roehrich).- Gas and electricity brightened Paris' dark streets in the 19th century and as a result the French capital became known as the 'City of Light', a transformation portrayed by impressionist painters and currently the focus of an exhibition at the Hotel de Ville.
