I have filed bankruptcy and it was discharged only 10 months ago. I have been establishing good credit since my discharge and immediately opened 3 lines of credit that have been paid as agreed - as well as that I did keep my current vehicle in the bankruptcy which shows 3 1/2 years of never a late payment. I also have student loans which are helping my credit. However, given some other circumstances (medical debt leading to bankruptcy) my credit score is only at about a 575. My debt to income ratio is approx. 2% currently. I have been at my current employer for 4 years. I am looking at purchasing a 2008 Saturn Outlook with around 20,000 - 30,000 miles on it for $18,000 - $23,000 and putting 50% down. Do you think I will be able to get financed? I am also a member of a credit union and I think they will be my first try. Thank you in advance for any help! -
