Tearful Bode Miller remembers dead brother

Emotional floodgates open for U.S. skier Bode Miller Sunday, when the 36-year-old became the oldest Alpine skier to win an Olympic medal.

He tied for bronze.

But those emotions are led by thoughts of his 29-year-old brother who died of a seizure last year. A promising snowboarder, who could have qualified for the Games.

(SOUNDBITE) (English) U.S. SUPER-G BRONZE MEDALLIST, BODE MILLER, SAYING:

"It's really hard and just kind of attached emotion to this. He wanted to come to these Games and I thought that he would probably have a chance of making it and for him to pass away in the way that he did is really kind of connected with my journey of coming back. Today I felt like that was all very connected and very raw and emotional for me and in the finish I think it all came out."
