SA marks 20 years since first democratic poll

South Africans are preparing to celebrate twenty years since the first post-apartheid election and with it, the end of white minority rule.

While there have been many achievements since 1994, some people say a lot more still needs to be done, as approximately one in every four South African is unemployed, increasing poverty and a growing sense of inequality.

Al Jazeera's Haru Mutasa reports from Johannesburg.
