Chris Brown will remain behind bars for at least another week. The singer was in a Los Angeles court on Thursday (May 01) and was ordered to remain in jail without bail.
Brown is accused of violating his probation stemming from his 2009 assault of then-girlfriend Rihanna. A judge ordered him back to court on May 9, when a date is expected to be set for a probation-violation hearing. The decision means that Brown will spend his 25th birthday in jail on May 05.
Brown was arrested March 14 after he was kicked out of a Malibu rehab facility.
He's also accused of punching a man who was trying to take a photo with him in Washington, D.C. - that trial is pending.
