Tear you down with my words
I could shatter your reputation
With a single blow to your lies
If I wanted to, I could
Ruin everything for you
But I’m not so small.
I realize
That perhaps you are human
And perhaps so am I
Maybe I’m a little wrong too
Like you
So
I will be silent
As people talk about you
Saying how marvelous you are
Because
Although I don’t think you near as marvelous
I could, after all, be wrong.
