Those who visit Can Tho in the Mekong Delta has to travel back to Saigon using the road. First there is a ferry to cross, then some ten bridges to cross before reaching Saigon. Mekong has so many tributaries one would have to spend some time counting them. This can be known by the number of bridge crossings back to the city after visiting the delta cities. Most of the bridges are of concrete though there are some really handsome steel ones.
