As on this couch,
I slumber with,
my two best friends,
near by, Brandy on,
the floor curled up,
and so asleep.
Murphy resting peacefully,
at my feet, with his,
tender head on my knee.
Times like this are,
rare indeed for these,
two, they want things
I don't know about yet, such
con artist are these
two dogs, but for this,
moment in time, they
are truely giving me,
love I don't deserve.
So tired am I, as they are to,
someday won't have this, but
for now, will cherish it,
soaking this precious moment,
deep into my heart and soul.
