What if when you're sleeping,
The sadness that you had during that day,
Comes back to attack you in the form of a nightmare?
It haunts your unconscious mind
Grabbing hold of the expected sweet dreams
Squeezing the sweetness right out
Leaving you with an untold dream
Then it forms itself into a horrifying figure
Snatching up the dream to fill it with it's presence
You cant even stop it
You end up having a front row seat for a look into your sadness's eyes
And what you see is happiness
That, therefore, brings the theory
The feeling of sadness in you
Is the thing that brings the feeling of happiness
To sadness's eyes
