What a dilemma I have
Trying to sort my feelings out.
I may have mistaken gratitude for love
And now I have to take five steps back.
For months I was on cloud nine
From this whirlwind romance that I have found.
I thought it was an answer to my prayer
Till trouble started to simmer.
First, there is another woman
Who is not supposed to be an 'other woman'
She is someone you share the same house with
A former lover, but no more.
Then there is that nagging suspicion
From both of us coming from all directions.
Is there hope for us yet?
From this quagmire we both created.
So, tomorrow we will talk
For a kind of understanding we hope we can achieve
We will sit and face each other at the table of negotiations
And hope a mutual understanding will be met.
