I am riding from college to home
then the dark clouds downpoured
wiping the tiresome summer from my cheeks
reunion with my lover after a sweating wait
So dear people watchin me over and scanning

cant you see the overspeeding boys? ?
wet from hairtip to toe? ? ? ?
why am i alone the culprit? ?
why are you throwing those cold stares
Hold on is it a traffic rule? ?
that a girl cant ride in rain?
i deserve an explanation
on how i became a sinner
what did i steal from u all? ?
or did i kill your son? ?
I am just celebrating
the first drops of the best season..
who are caressing me with passion
are you jealous on our little romance? ?
or is it that you are hydrophobic? ?
I stopped at the red signal
'insane girl' the sane people murmered
throwing stones at the sinner through stares
I took a look at myself..
was i wearing the orange saree
that kareena kapoor wore in 3 idiots
that a rain or wind would make much difference
as far as i know, i am wearing the ugly college uniform
even a flood or hurricane cant make it interesting
So much of drama so much of commotion
the legendary me reached home
cold droplets clinging on to my curls
with the pain of parting
dear people, whatever you say
however you argue or reason
here I CONCLUDE....
that this was the best ride of my life.....
