If I could
Travel back in time
Turn back the clock, I would
cut off certain moments in time
Drag out the remaining part
riding up the ladder to the summit
of wasted dreams to start
bridging the gaps
of life's irregular bends
Failures and mishaps
by pasting the two ends
of yesterdays beautiful memories
to the new beginnings for tomorrow
Of hopeful trophies
then, dropp the wasted chunk of sorrow
as a vanquished bump
Into the recycle bin
Empty it into a cosmic rump
Slide back to the present to spin
Say good bye to Forget me-nots
Scattered over the seven seas
With love me not's
listless dangling daisies
Hibernate within strong, protective arms
Inflict self amnesia
to wake up later with rejuvenated charms
And a new thirst for a start
to reach out to you, in gentle nips
From heart to heart
with lovelock eyes and rose red lips
