Rihanna took to Twitter to lash out at network CBS for excluding her song "Run This Town" from the show's "Thursday Night Football" program last week - amid the NFL being at the center of a domestic violence scandal.
The singer - who was assaulted by ex-boyfriend Chris Brown in 2009 - tweeted to her 37 million followers: "CBS you pulled my song last week, now you wanna slide it back in this Thursday...Y'all are sad for penalizing me for this."
Following the tweet, CBS released a statement saying that they were "moving in a different direction" and using original music for their NFL programs.
To make matters even blurrier, Roc Nation released a statement saying that CBS was never authorized to use Rihanna's version of "Run This Town" in the first place.
