what i want to do is
spin poetry center stage
set humanities focus
send science slingshot to head
boil dry obscurity
of subconscious womb
shine laser-blind
of superconscious activity,
make movement first principle
morality fashionable
trample all
human security tramplers,
then
bring it all together
so that no one need ever
ever have to live in terror
ever ever ever again,
but
fortunate fellow canadian
you need never
toss and turn in bed
for you can ever
trust that stalwart guardian
at poetry's gate,
the english editor,
to save you
from ever having to taste
even one bloody drop of this-
not one word
will ever touch
your precious, sensitive eyes
