I've often asked, 'Why me Lord? '
'Grace' was God's reply
'For when you suffer in this life,
on me you will rely.'
And as I sought to peer within
God's will for my life
I saw he had appointed
Some grief some pain some strife
No longer do I ask 'Why me? '
To my Father up above
He is transforming me to be like Christ -
The full measure of His love.
