Let's make a law
that bans all the guns
we could use all the money
to tear down the slums
and while we are at it
we'll get rid of the bombs
and use more of our efforts
to righting the wrongs
why plant more mines
when we should plant more food
the starving and needy
think tanks are no use
what is the purpose
of killing and war
do we really believe
that's what living is for.
