I was walking with my head bent
Immersed in faraway thoughts
When i felt your presence beside me
your hands touched my shoulders lightly
My head remained bent
when you turned me towards you
Your hands lifted my face gently
And your lips - formed the words which i wished to hear
I could not speak
But my eyes mirrored the thoughts of my heart
We stood gazing into each other's eyes - mesmerised
Time stood still.
