When death strikes
the day is stale
fill with laughters and cries
about Nae-Kenaeh
The same was with Uncle James
when the family had forgotten
he creeps in disguise flames
as often, as often, as often..
When death strikes
he whips who ever, without favour
rich or poor; low or high; u must die!
With that it is all over
When we laugh and merrymake
He stands and check the list
a list, that is never late
in peace or with a fist
As death strikes
Grandma Gbasay,
she understood the flight-strike
a journey that begins that day.
About the pains and hopes
she learned, when it strikes her parents
'My daughter, there's end to this ropes,
live a life for the heavens'
...so, when death strike
my mind goes back again
to the lost and the pains,
in wars and sicknesses, the ruins goes in lights
Death....death...death...death....
in this life, as death strikes
given up your last breath
can only open roads; can it ever stop?
