Living life in this world today
Shades of darkness abound
I keep my memories locked up tight in my wallet
As I stand against the wall with a smile on my face
And you come to me
Telling me your stories
I pay attention to you and your every word
Through your stories, your words, and your point of view
I've learned so much from you
But in you there's always the truth
And always a heavenly light
A light that's always shining over you
As well as a healing smile you give back to me
