i was mad at you, for tearing up my heart
i thought that we would forever be apart,
that what i felt was not mutual;
but i guess that i was wrong.
you surprised me, and it made me happy.
i now have a reason to look forward to
tomorrow; to the future, for it looks bright.
some people tell me to be careful,
that i might get my heart broken,
but it tells me that you wouldn't do that.
you've been hurt yourself,
and ive been torn before,
so baby, we will love eachother with all the
love that we have left; and i know for sure
that what we have is true.
