“Freshen up
before we get fresh

I slip sleepily between
silk sheets
fall asleep
waiting for her.

naked
before me
dabbing Eau
De Cologne
behind her earlobes
crook of her elbows

between breasts
little touch
between her legs.
She smiles.
“Good! I feel dressed now
to go to bed.
