The words echoed clearly in my mind
Say “no” please say no please hear me plea
Except from my mouth didn’t come out so kind
The very next day I felt foggy, plenty woolly
Mom says great knowledge gives vast freedom
But she didn’t say I do not have to try it to taste
Sure taste of freedom is yummy without wisdom
Woke up wasted, memory of yesterday all erased
Still in my mind the echo is clear
Saying no doesn’t make you mean
It doesn’t show fear or makes you queer
Just simply keeps you free, nice and pristine
