This is a poem dedicated to a person who is so special to me,
Looking back at the days,
When we sat in the same bench
not knowing what to do.....
And next to me was a person who was so silent, with a pleasant smile,
I made a silent promise to the almighty
And hoped you’ll hear me say
“will you be my friend? ? ? ”
my prayers were answered
my days had begun
with your hands clutched in mine sitting close as my best buddy,
I’ll never love another like I love you dear,
I’ll never find another just like you dear,
Every smiles that came to me stood in miles
The only thing close to ma heart was your blissful smile,
Days passed by,
Years passed by
Our love had its endless bounds,
With silent tears we departed our second home, with hopes to always be close,
College came and went, and now
I return to you dialing your number to say a loving hello to hear your kind voice
Waiting to see your heavenly smile,
Through the silence I can still hear your words making out what you think,
“ dear even I miss you”
I’ll never lover another like I love u dear,
I’ll never have another like u dear,
The day has come
Hearts were thumping in joy,
I was struck dumb in seeing you,
Yet our eyes speaking a thousand words,
One moment of pleasure for all these years of lonely pain,
Looking back at the days,
Things are different now,
Yet the things between you and me had been the same,
Honey how else can I tell u how much I missed u all these years,
I’ll never love another like I love you dear,
I’ll never find another like u dear,
You are my world’s best friend! ! ! ! ! ! ! !
