Cancer has changed my life forever
cutting parts of my body away.
Where once I would bind, those embarassements of mine
as a young girl noticing her development that day.
I would try to hide, what had fought to poke outside
for all prying eyes to see.
Now that they're gone, I try to go on
scars now where those body parts use to be.
