You tell me that it’s alright
To tell you everything,
All good and bad
Even though he might;
He might run away for good,
He might stay and run over my dreams,
He might rear and kill with a single small move
But he also could;
He could settle down and like me,
He could come running to me whenever I called him,
He could talk to me through his huge glimmering eyes,
He would be free;
I would be able to climb up on his soft brown back
And we would run together through the big trees
We would be unseperatible, like conjoined twins
And I would reward him with a big fresh haystack;
Even though he might do the complete opposite
I would brush out the mats in its silky black hair
And we would save each other from our terrible troubles
I will always, always be with him.
