A double creature
Stalked the world
Residing in
Terrifying unknown territory
Its feature half girl, half boy
'Should we kill it?
Since this is not of our tribe'
They cried
We were this being
You brought yours
And I brought mine
And as the world looked on in fear and envy
The two parts
Of our hearts
Were sealed
