I love the twilight,
When the sun departs.
And the full moon rising,
Gladdening all hearts.
Clouds on the horizon,
In orange and red.
A fire in the sky,
As the day has fled.
And the twinkling of Venus,
In the western sky,
Winking at the Earth,
From heaven on high.
The breeze slowly dying,
As the light gently fades.
There is no denying,
The magic in the glade.
