Argentine president disbands intelligence agency

Argentine President Cristina Fernandez announced plans to disband the country's intelligence agency following the death under mysterious circumstances of prosecutor Alberto Nisman, in charge of investigating the 1994 bombing of the Jewish Mutual Assistance Association. Fernandez will send a bill to congress to create a new Federal Intelligence Agency under the control of the executive branch that will adhere to the constitution and the international human rights treaties the country has signed.
