I never knew this, but Michael Jordan's first home debut game in the Chicagoland area wasn't at Chicago Stadium, but at East Chicago Washington High school in East Chicago Indiana on 10/09/1984. Chicago Bulls vs Milwaukee Bucks.
Bulls won the game and Jordan led all scorers with 22 points.
The gym was torn down in 1986 and townhouses occupy the place where the gym once stood.
