The United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV) launched its primary election campaign. The rank and file of the ruling left-wing party will chose 1,000 candidates to run for the National Assembly. PSUV activists are currently going door to door in the country's 87 congressional districts to receive policy proposals from the community. Campaigning will continue until June 26. teleSUR
