Mumbai: Leopards at Sanjay Gandhi National Park (SGNP) are not a rare sight, particularly for those living in or around the forest. But increasing instances of leopard attacks has become a big question mark now. The reason behind these attacks is 'leopard-human' conflict. The leopards were here long before millions of people turned Mumbai into a bustling megacity. The park’s peripheral areas are much populated, and experts think this has led to the increase in sightings of leopards.
