Over 1,800 soldiers from 18 nations held military training exercises at a NATO training centre in Yavoriv, near the Polish border.
Footage released by NATO showed troops from countries including Ukraine, Lithuania, Georgia and the US taking part in woodland patrols and exchanging fire as part of the drill.
