Financial Protection Bureau’s Know Before You Owe mortgage
disclosure rule, also called the TILA-RESPA Integrated Disclosures
rule or TRID. Every residential real estate transaction now
requires new loan documentation consisting of two new forms: the Loan Estimate and the Closing Disclosure.
