WHITEHALL, MICHIGAN — A Michigan woman attacked her 60-year-old boyfriend with a mounted sailfish early Sunday.
The woman, 58, was drinking with her partner, when he decided to make a sketch of a mounted sailfish they had in the house. She became angry at him and decided to take the fish away, then left the room.
As she was leaving, she didn't realize that the mounted fish felt and broke. When she got back, she thought her boyfriend broke it on purpose. The woman then took the broken fish and started hitting her partner on the head and reportedly poked him with it also.
The boyfriend suffered cuts on his hand, and called 911, but didn't want medical treatment.
Police said the woman was not arrested due to health issues, however the case is set to be reviewed by the Muskegon County Prosecutor.
