Me dhjetëra paciente e familjare te tyre nga Shqipëria e Kosova presin pas dyerve te spitalit onkologjik per te bere terapinë me rreze. Një prej tyre eshte Nizet Isufi nga Ferizaj i cili na tregon se ka 20 dite qe pret për te bere trajtimin mjekësor te bashkëshortes.
Ka zëne një shtëpi me qera ne Tirane dhe pohon se gjate tre viteve te sëmundjes se te shoqes ka harxhuar me miliona leke neper dyert e spitaleve. Pacientet e tjere na pohojnë se nëse trajtimi me rreze nuk merret ne vazhdimësi, nuk ka vlere. Ata hedhin dyshime se aparatura e kobaltit nuk rregullohet për ti drejtuar pacientet drejt privatit. Drejtoria e QSUT-se nuk pranon te reagoje zyrtarisht per mosfunksionimin e aparatit te kobaltit. Kjo aparature dëmtohet shpesh pasi ka mbingarkese dhe servisi i pjesëve kushton. Ne QSUT ka dy aparate kobalti, por vetëm njeri ishte ne gjendje pune kur funksionon, përballon mbi 120 paciente ne dite. Ndërsa një aparat i trete, me i avancuar ne teknologji, akseleratorin linear është blere prej kohesh por nuk është vene kurrë ne përdorim.
