They nicknamed it "Big Wednesday." The historic big Pacific Ocean swell that hit California's coast on December 5th, 2007. From the high vantage point of La Jolla Cove, we see the giant waves crashing on the shore in a cascade of foam. Surfers are seen attempting to catch the speedy swells.
