The UN Security Council has agreed on a roadmap to peace in Syria.
The resolution calls for a UN-monitored ceasefire, and peaceful talks between Damascus and the rebels. It also envisions elections within 18 months. However, there was no mention of the future of President Assad.
That's after the US toned down its regime-change rhetoric. Although some differences re-emerged between Washington and Moscow.
