Shaamlee in Dhanush starrer Kodi. The film, which is touted to be a political thriller is directed by Durai Senthilkumar and has Dhanush essaying a dual role. While Trisha, who is paired with the National Award-winner, is essaying a role with grey shades, Shamlee was also roped in as one of leads. Apparently, because an issue with the availability of dates, she has been dropped from the project on mutual consent with the producers. She had given dates during October and November last year, which could not be used by the makers.
