Rouchos
Andreas Marouchos (Short, Rouchos), is a DJ from Toronto. Having discovered Techno at a very young age, he convinced his parents to trade in the family piano for turntables and has been a vinyl and Techno enthusiast ever since. Specializing in Techno and House, Andreas has been a professional DJ since 1998, playing sets in four countries (Canada, Cyprus, Greece, US). He is also a podcasting pioneer, with live audio and video mixes stretching as far back as the last millennium. Despite the progress of technology, Andreas still collects and spins 100% of music on Vinyl as he believes that “putting a laptop between a DJ and the crowd seems boring”.
Quote from the DJ “To me, real DJ’s use vinyl. Even today, I find that most underground music is released on this format so I was fascinated from the get go. To this day I still play 100% of my DJ Sets on vinyl.”
