Neemuch (MP), Apr 16 (ANI): The wholesale price of onions on Saturday crashed to a low of 30 paise per kilogram because of poor quality, while good quality onions were being sold at Rs.2 per kilogram in Neemuch district of Madhya Pradesh. A wholesaler said that due to the current prices the principal amount spent has also not been recovered. Meanwhile another said that the onions being sold at 35 paise are the damaged ones that get destroyed while being transported.
