I spent way too long thinking about who would be the best Aurora. I've already gone over that before so I'll spare you the repeat rant. But when I finally collected the songs for this set and got to this one I realized I had been approaching this problem from the wrong angle. It wasn't Aurora who I needed to make this decision, it was Prince Phillip!
Shining Armor is the perfect Phillip. I've passed him over for the role of the prince far too many times before, so it's nice to finally give him the casting he's intended for. I can totally see him charging a forest of thorns and battling a dragon for his love. And once I decided on Shining, that difficult choice for Aurora couldn't have been simpler. Thank you Shining, this set might never have gotten done without you!
And before anyone asks, yes, I do know this isn't the whole song. But give me a break just this once, eh? It's literally just another 45 seconds where a chorus picks up the rest of that verse and stretches it out as slowly as possible. And this is the fourth audio track I've had to use since they kept breaking down for some reason. At this point I'm glad it got done at all!
I do not own My Little Pony or Disney, but I do own this cute fuzzy little critter. I have no idea what it is, but it purrs and it's adorable and I just love it! Wait, there's a second one now! I wonder where it came from... oh, here's a third one... and another...
