Unsold onions to be bought by state government: Shivraj Singh Chouhan

Bhopal, June 01 (ANI): After walking on the lines of Bhutan, which measures prosperity by gauging citizens' happiness quotient and not GDP and announcing a 'happiness ministry' to measure the state's progress, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan on Wednesday said the onion produce that will not be sold in market will be bought by the state government. The onions will be bought at not less than Rs 6/kg. This measure shall come as a great relief to the farmers.
