He broke the record of 50-year-old Bangladeshi Hafiz Zakaria
Dubai International Qur’an reading competition was started on 24 June month of Ramadan. Bangladeshi Hafez Mohammad Zakaria has become champion to beat 72 candidates. Every year UAE arrange this Qur’an reading competition to World wide. This year total 72 countries 72 candidates participate on this event. Inside them Bangladeshi representative Hafez Mohammad Zakaria won the crowned. The competition was held on Dubai Commerce and Industry, Dubai Chamber.
Hafez Mohammad Zakaria is the son of a Immam who worked at a Mosque in Dhaka. He was started to read and becoming Hafez of the holy Qur’an from his 7 years old. Before this competition he was participate the holy Qur’an competition in Egypt, Jordan and Qatar. He had been champion in Egypt, 2nd runner up in Jordan, and 4th in Qatar.

By the title of “Dubai Award” this 19th international Qur’an competition was stared on 24 June in Dubai. Finally 5 July on Sunday night declared Zakaria name as title of 19th International Qur’an Competition. He got 5 thousand Dir-ham (UAE Money) as prize
