WASHINGTON — It’s safe to say Hillary Clinton isn’t taking her crushingly embarrassing election loss to Donald Trump very well.
Sure she won the popular vote by over 3 million votes, but she lost where it counted most — the electoral college.
Clinton has been trying to get the election results overturned since her defeat.
First, she backed a failed attempt for recounts in Michigan, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin. Now she’s back to beating the Russia hacking dead horse again.
The CIA concluded last week that Russia mounted a covert intelligence operation to to help Trump win. The Clinton camp is backing a request by some electoral college voters for an intelligence briefing on how the Russian government meddled in the U.S. election.
Clinton just needs to give it a rest already. The Russians didn’t make both candidates widely unpopular, they did that themselves. Russia also didn’t keep 90 million Americans from voting — we did that all by ourselves.
