Bengali bombshell Bipasha Basu, who is considered to be one of the fittest actresses in Bollywood, recently opened up about the trauma that she went through when she was diagnosed with osteoarthritis around seven years back.
At a recent marathon event, Bipasha said, "Around seven years back, I was diagnosed with osteoarthritis and I was completely shattered by it when the doctors told me that I would not be able to do dance or action sequences. I was going through such a low phase that I cried for three days. but then, I decided that I should not let this handicap bog me down and I turned towards physiotherapy. At times, having a handicap makes you a stronger person."
Bipasha Basu was last seen in 'Raaz 3', where she played the role of an insecure actress named Shanaya, who resorts to black magic to wreak havoc in the life of her competitor, played by Esha Gupta.
