Homicide suspect Alonso Perez was filmed escaping police custody by twisting his handcuffs until they broke. Perez then climbed onto a chair, removed a ceiling tile and escaped from a police interview room in footage released by the North Las Vegas police.
It was another 25 minutes before cops realized he was missing. By then, Perez had stolen a truck from a nearby parking lot, according to police. Having escaped last Friday, Perez was re-arrested late on Tuesday.
